In preparation for Yom Kippur we participated in a special discovery learning day about Tefilla. We spent the morning exploring the different aspects of Tfillot Yom Kippur from an interactive play about Kavana to a game about forgiveness. We traveled to the Kotel and made Bakashot (requests) for all of Am Yisrael and we analyzed the deeper meaning of Avinu Malkeinu. We walked out to the stream for Tashlich and Kapparot (with a real chicken!). We are now ready for a meaningful Yom Kippur. Gmar Chatima Tova!
